A discussão sobre as fronteiras entre documental e ficcional parece obsoleta diante da imagem - metafórica - de dois acrobatas que são contra-peso um do outro.

The discussion about the boundaries between fictional and documental seems obsolete when metaphorically represented by two acrobats counter-weighting each other. The Film Language Research Award goes to "Birds get vertigo too".

Ao trabalhar com um cigano como seu principal personagem, o filme consegue abarcar três culturas distintas e expressar, de maneira inesperadamente leve, o problema da imigração na Europa.

In working with a gypsy as the main character, the film is able to embrace three different cultures and express, in an unexpected light way, the problem of immigration in Europe. The award goes to "Bingo".

For its fragmented narrative used to express the search of an identity and to explore gender boundaries, the jury gives to "The multitude is feverish" the award of Poetic Expression.

Por interferir deliberadamente no que poderia ser um trabalho meramente contemplativo, o filme constrói, com elementos como enquadramento, som e montagem, um retrato afetuoso e bem humorado de uma comunidade. O prêmio de Construção da Narrativa vai para "Onde o sol não se apressa".

For deliberately interfering in what could be a merely contemplative work, the film constructs, with elements such as framing, sound and editing, an affective and humorous portrait of a community. The narrative construction award goes to "Where the sun doesn't rush".
