O CineMart é o mercado de co-produção internacional do Festival Internacional de Cinema de Roterdã. Foi a primeira plataforma de seu tipo a oferecer a realizadores a oportunidade de lançarem suas ideias para a indústria cinematográfica internacional e encontrarem conexões certas para terem seus projetos financiados. Lançando cerca de 35 novos projetos à procura de financiamento adicional, o CineMart é considerado um início importante ao "ano fílmico".

Todo ano, o CineMart convida um número seleto de diretores/produtores a apresentarem seus projetos cinematográficos a potenciais co-produtores, banqueiros, fundos, agentes de vendas, distribuidores, canais de TV e outros financiadores em potencial e a fontes de informação.

O CineMart acontece em 4 dias durante o Festival de Roterdã numa local conveniente que também serve como o centro do festival. O foco desses quatro dias são as reuniões individuais entre representantes dos projetos e possíveis financiadores. Além desses encontros há muitas outras oportunidades de contatos informais nos cafés-da-manhã, almoços e coquetéis diários e diversas festas.

Desde 2001, o CineMart também organiza o Rotterdam Lab, um curso de treinamento de cinco dias para produtores jovens e emergentes ampliarem suas redes internacionais num festival e mercado internacional. Durante o CineMart 2009, o Rotterdam Lab recebeu 51 produtores emergentes do mundo todo, indicados por nossas diversas organizações internacionais parceiras. Uma programação foi organizada para esse produtores, com mesas redondas, encontros rápidos e consultoria com membros-chave da indústria internacional de cinema.

Obteve o Mestrado em História Cultural pela Universidade de Utrecht em 2002. Já trabalhou para diversos festivais e começou a trabalhar no Festival Internacional de Cinema de Roterdã em 2005. Desde abril de 2007, é Coordenadora Sênior do CineMart & Rotterdam Lab. Também está no comitê de seleção do Fundo Hubert Bals do Festival de Roterdã, e no comitê de seleção de curtas-metragens do Rotterdam Media Fund.

CineMart is the international co-production market of the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
It was the first platform in its form to offer filmmakers the opportunity to launch their ideas to the international film industry and to find the right connections to get their projects financed. Launching around 35 new projects that are looking for additional financing, CineMart also forms an important start of the 'film year'.

Every year, the CineMart invites a select number of directors/producers to present their film projects to potential co-producers, bankers, funds, sales agents, distributors, TV stations and other potential financiers and information sources.

CineMart takes place for four days during the Rotterdam Film Festival in a convenient location that also serves as the festival centre. The centre of those four days form the one-to-one meetings between the project representatives and possible financiers. Besides these meetings there are many more informal networking opportunities such as daily breakfasts, lunches, cocktails and several parties.

Since 2001, CineMart also organizes the Rotterdam Lab, a five-day training workshop for young and emerging producers to build up their international network and their experience at an international festival and market.
During CineMart 2009, the Rotterdam Lab welcomed 51 emerging producers from all over the world, nominated by our various international partner organizations. A program was set up for these producers with panel discussions, speed dating sessions and consultancies with key members of the international film industry.

Jacobine van der Vloed
Obtained a Masters Degree in Cultural History (University of Utrecht) in 2002. She has worked for several festivals and started working at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2005. Since April 2007, she is Senior Coordinator CineMart & Rotterdam Lab. She is also on the selection committee of the Hubert Bals Fund of the Rotterdam Film Festival and on the short film selection committee of the Rotterdam Media Fund.
