A história do trabalhador Nikolay e seu filho desenvolve-se numa cidade industrial e provinciana. O pai trabalha numa fábrica local e participa ativamente do sindicato. Os trabalhadores organizam reuniões clamando por aumento salarial, aquecidos pelo conflito entre proprietários locais e homens de negócios de Moscou.

A story of a laborer Nikolay and his son is deploying in an industrial provincial town. The father is a laborer on a local factory and an active trade-union participant. Laborers organize meetings crying for salary payment warmed up by the struggle between local proprietors and Moscow businessmen.

Defino esse filme como um documentário experimental estilo vídeo caseiro. É cru, feio e imaturo. As cenas são mal-enquadradas, as cores sem harmonia, e a qualidade de imagem pobre. Entretanto, é a única memória que tenho do vovô.

I define this film as a home-video-like experimental documentary. It is crude, ugly and immature. The shots are badly framed, the colors unharmonious, and the image quality poor. However, it is the only memory I have of grandpa.
