Premiação da Mostra Competitiva Internacional

1- Retrato da Realidade Nacional: O Aniversário
Pelo seu forte conteúdo humanista, mostrando um realizador bem sucedido ao
construir um engenhoso roteiro que relaciona a experiência e a memória entre
dois irmãos com os problemas do país em sua história de guerras e
sobrevivência.

2- Pesquisa de Linguagem: Mãos de Sorvete
Pela hábil e criativa articulação de materiais heterogêneos criando
estéticas variadas em relação orgânica com o tema tratado.

3- Expressão Cultural: A Foto de Passaporte
Pela criação de um competente clima kafkiano que ultrapassa características
culturais de determinados países e regimes políticos, tornando-se uma obra
universal.

4- Expressão Poética: Juntos
Pelo resultado técnico e sensibilidade demonstrada ao investir objetos do
cotidiano com significados e sentimentos humanistas.

5- Contribuição Artística: Dia 26
Pelo impacto e a surpresa de seu roteiro e criação de um clima sufocante
onde, ao final, vencem o relacionamento humano e a solidariedade.

6- Contribuição Técnica: A Guerra d´Água
Pelo seu acabamento formal onde destacam-se fotografia e montagem assim como
outros elementos de linguagem muito bem orquestrados dentro de uma
perspectiva de narrativa clássica.

O Júri também resolveu outorgar uma Menção Especial ao filme de animação
Pré-mamíferos pela excelência da técnica utilizada e também pelo seu
conteúdo que metaforiza, de certa maneira, a situação da República Tcheca.

Finalmente o Júri gostaria de expressar o alto nível da seleção apresentada
e parabenizar a equipe organizadora do Festival pelo trabalho, seriedade e
dedicação.

Awards of the International School Films Competition

1- Portrait of the National Reality: Ngay Gio
For its strong humanistic content, showing a successful filmmaker in
constructing an ingenious script, which relates the experience and the
memory between two brothers with the problems of their country in its
history of wars and survival.

2- Film Language Research: Ice-Cream Hands
For the skillful and creative articulation of heterogeneous material,
creating varied aesthetics in an organic relation with the treated subject
matter.

3- Cultural Expression: Das Passphoto
For the creation of a successful kafkaesque atmosphere which surpasses the
cultural characteristics of certain countries and political regimes,
becoming an universal work.

4- Poetic Expression: Spolu
For its technical result and the sensibility demonstrated when charging
daily objects with meanings and humanistic feelings.

5- Artistic Contribution: Tag 26
For the impact and surprise of its script, and the creation of a suffocating
atmosphere where, in the end, human relationship and solidarity wins.

6- Technical Contribution: The Water Fight
For its formal filmmaking where cinematography and editing can be
distinguished, as well as other film language elements which are very well
orchestrated under a classical narrative perspective.

The Jury has also decided to grant a Special Mention to the animation film
Prasavci, for the excellency of the used technique and also for its content
which can be seen as a metaphor for the situation in the Czech Republic, in
a certain way.

Finally the Jury would like to express the high level of the presented
selection, and to congratulate the festival staff for its work, seriousness
and dedication.
