na Mostra Internacional a maior mudança
dentro do Festival este ano. Abrindo inscrições
e tornando-se competitiva, esperamos não
só melhorar ainda mais sua programação,
mas também atrair um público
maior e abrangente. O que com certeza nos
ajudará nesse intuito será a
exibição dos filmes com legendagem
eletrônica, reinvidicação
antiga dentro do Festival, que só agora
o nosso pequeno orçamento permite.
Para julgar essa competição,
convidamos 3 mestres de notório saber,
que com suas experiências de décadas
no ensino audiovisual em suas escolas são
os mais gabaritados a fazer esse julgamento.

os consulados e instituições
culturais que sempre nos ajudam no transporte
dos filmes e convidados para o Festival.
Sem eles, nada disso seria possível.
O que podemos dizer sobre a seleção?
Não foi fácil ver os 230 filmes
recebidos, que somados tinham mais de 60
horas de duração. Ainda mais
reduzi-los a menos de 6 horas. Portanto
achamos que os 26 filmes escolhidos proporcionam
uma seleção forte, que não
deixa nada a dever a de nenhum outro festival
do mundo.

se deleite com o resultado!
The biggest change in the Festival
this year is found on the International
Showcase. Opening for submissions and becoming
competitive, we not only expect to improve
the programming even more, but also to attract
a bigger and diverse audience. What will
certainly help this intention is the exhibition
of the films with electronic subtitles,
an old request inside the Festival, that
only now our small budget permits.
To judge this competition, we invited
3 masters of notorious knowledge, whom with
their experience of decades of audiovisual
lecturing in their schools, are the most
indicated to make this judgment. Our sincere
regards to all three for accepting this
challenge. We are also thankful to our everlasting
partners: the consulates and cultural institutions
which always help us with the transport
of films and guests for the Festival. Without
them, nothing would be possible.
What we can say about the selection? It
wasn't easy to watch the 230 submitted films,
which added up to a total of over 60 hours
of running time. It was even more difficult
to reduce it to less than 6 hours. Therefore
we think that the 26 chosen films provide
a strong selection, that matches any other
festival selection in the world.
